The arts have a unique ability to stir up understanding and empathy as we witness someone else's story. We believe it is our responsibility to tell stories that challenge and inspire.
Both the creative team and the audience are given the opportunity learn more from professionals working in the highlighted area of need to ensure we are responding in a way that is informed.
For each show, we partner with an organization or individual in the highlighted area of need, allowing us to learn about and then support their work with our time, talent, and resources .
From Tony winners Terrence McNally, Stephen Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens, this show follows the a young woman's journey from the broken remembrance of Imperial Russia to a future hope of life in France in the 1920's. Pursued by a ruthless Soviet officer determined to silence her, Anya enlists the aid of a con man and an ex-aristocrat. Together, they embark on an epic adventure to help her find home, love and family.
Anastasia is presented in arrangement with Concord Theatricals.
This performance weekend will also offer an opportunity to support refugees creating a new home and life in our area.

In- person auditions will be held at Wayzata East Middle School Gymnatorium on Tuesday, May 7th and Thursday, May 9th.
Callbacks will be scheduled on an individual basis.
Actors should prepare 60 seconds of music and a short monologue in the style of the show and fill out this online informational form .

Katie is the Director of Children's and Family Ministry at Vision of Glory Lutheran Church and has worked as a choreographer and director in the Twin Cities for over 20 years. She spends most of her free time with her husband and their 4 daughters.

Kirsten earned her BA in vocal performance from Southern Louisiana University, and her Master's Degree in Vocal Performance from Rice University. From there, she was a Resident Artist with the Opera Institute at Boston University, and continued on to Virginia Opera for a year as a Resident Artist. She has performed with many opera companies in the United States, most notably Chautauqua Opera, Opera in the Heights (Houston, TX), Virginia Opera, and Minnesota Opera. She was a music director at Blue Water Theatre Company from 2008-2022. She resides in Plymouth, MN where she maintains a private voice studio.
ORCHESTRA DIRECTOR
Timothy has done countless productions in the last fifteen years as an actor, writer, director, and musician. His favorite hobbies include reading, biking, playing board games.
